Community Bank Announces New Investment Representative

David FarrellGLEN ELLYN - Community Bank-Wheaton/Glen Ellyn announces the hiring of David Farrell as the investment advisor for Community Investment Center.

Farrell’s background includes asset management, business development, risk management, and equity trading. He earned a B.S. in Economics from the University of New Orleans.

Farrell has completed his career at a major Fortune 500 company as senior portfolio manager and vice president where he managed $500 million of client assets within the Private Wealth Management group. There he constructed and managed investment portfolios in accordance with clients’ objectives and the firm’s investment philosophy. Through both bull and bear markets, he implemented tactical programs in client portfolios utilizing equities, fixed income, alternative assets, structured products and cash to both protect and grow wealth.

Community Bank, with assets in excess of $322 million, has more than 500 shareholders, a majority of whom are area residents, and is led by a Board of Directors who reside and/or work in Wheaton and Glen Ellyn.
